We all know that agricultural industry in our country can be better improved if the natural resources are converted into useful form.G’melina and banana are some of the native species here in the Philippines. This two contains the most helpful nutrients that could help broiler raisers acquires what they could get in the commercial feeds. Protein is one of the major nutrient package that broiler needs and this Gemebanana mixture have the capacity to ensure that they will get enough of it.

The group resides at Masbate City which is known for its abundant resources in agriculture specifically in Debesmscat, Mandaon, Masbate. G’melina are abundant in Masbate but people there don’t know that aside from its bark which is being utilize to paper production, its seeds also has the capacity to be of help. Global production of broiler meat has been growing since the 1960s, faster than that of any other meat. In recent years, this growth has occurred in developing countries. Broiler meat is popular because it is cheaper, more versatile, and is perceived to give more health benefits than red meat. In spite of these advantages, the world broiler industry increasingly faces pressure to improve its production methods, with consumers and government citing health, environment, and animal welfare as the areas for improvement.

Demand outlook is positive for the Philippine broiler industry because of the continuing growth in population and household incomes in the country. However, it faces threats from cheaper imports as a result of its higher cost of production and its less efficient marketing system. Rising raw materials for feeds because of the continuous elevation of prices of biofuels affects greatly the broiler raisers.

Feed as the major component of input cost in broiler production, accounting for up to 70% of the total production cost. For this reason, any review of input costs and profitability will include a review of feed costs as a primary component of the exercise. Choosing alternatives or substitutes will help them ease the burden. That is why, this study aims to provide an efficient alternative for the raisers. It is also essential to optimize broiler nutrition of broilers from the standpoint of both a biological performance and economics.
